Privacy Policy
How Volar handles data. In short: we collect as little as possible, and we do not sell anything.
Summary
Volar is a non-custodial interface to public smart contracts. We do not require an account, an email, or any personal identity to use it. We do not sell or rent data to anyone.
What we do not collect
- No names, emails, or identity documents.
- No custody of funds or private keys.
- No advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
What is inherently public
When you transact, your wallet address and transaction details are recorded on the public blockchain by the network itself, not by us. This is a property of every blockchain and is outside our control.
Data processed to run the site
- Local storage. We store small preferences on your device (for example, that you dismissed the cookie notice). This never leaves your browser.
- Network requests. To show live prices, your browser sends read-only requests to a public Robinhood Chain RPC endpoint. Standard server logs (such as IP address) may be recorded by that infrastructure and by our web host for security and reliability.
- Fonts. Typefaces are loaded from Google Fonts, which may receive your IP address as part of serving the font files.
Third parties
We rely on a small number of infrastructure providers (a blockchain RPC, a web host, and a font provider). We do not share personal data with them beyond what is technically necessary to deliver the site.
Your choices
You can clear local storage and cookies from your browser at any time. You can use the Service through your own RPC endpoint to avoid third-party request logging.
Changes
We may update this policy. Material changes will be reflected by the date above.
