Privacy Policy
This Privacy Policy explains what information OneBlock handles when you use our website and app, and the choices you have. OneBlock is a non-custodial application: we collect as little as possible, and we never ask for your identity.
1. The short version
- We do not require an account, name, email or KYC to use the app.
- We never hold your funds or your keys.
- Your public wallet address and your on-chain activity are, by nature, public on the blockchain.
- We use a small amount of local storage and optional analytics to keep the app working and improve it.
2. Information we handle
Provided by you / your wallet
When you connect a wallet, your browser shares your public wallet address with the app so it can display balances and prepare transactions. We do not receive your private keys or seed phrase — those never leave your wallet.
On-chain data
Launching or trading a token creates public blockchain transactions (wallet addresses, amounts, token metadata, timestamps). This data is public, permanent and outside our control. Anyone can read it.
Technical & usage data
Like most websites, our hosting and infrastructure may automatically process technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages viewed, for security and to keep the site running. If you accept analytics cookies, we may also collect anonymous aggregated usage statistics.
Local storage
We store small preferences in your browser (for example, your selected network and your cookie choice). See our Cookie Policy.
3. How we use information
- to operate the app (read balances, build and submit the transactions you sign);
- to remember your preferences between visits;
- to keep the Service secure and prevent abuse;
- to understand aggregate usage and improve the product.
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Third parties
To function, the app connects to third-party services, including your wallet provider, blockchain RPC nodes, block explorers and our hosting provider. When you use the app, these parties may process technical data (such as your IP or wallet address) under their own privacy policies. We do not control them.
5. Blockchain data is permanent
Because blockchains are public and immutable, transactions you make cannot be edited or deleted by us or anyone else. Please keep this in mind before transacting.
6. Data retention
Local storage remains in your browser until you clear it or withdraw consent. Server-side technical logs are kept only as long as needed for security and operations. On-chain data persists on the blockchain indefinitely.
7. Your choices & rights
You can clear local storage and cookies at any time from your browser settings, disconnect your wallet, or simply stop using the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or erase personal data we hold about you; note that we hold very little, and that on-chain data cannot be erased.
8. Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the Service, but no online service is perfectly secure. You are responsible for the security of your own wallet and device.
9. Children
The Service is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes
We may update this Policy from time to time. Changes are reflected by updating the “Last updated” date above.
11. Contact
Privacy questions can be raised through the official OneBlock channels linked from the app.
